I’ve begun my Substack in earnest, and I’ve been posting twice a week so far, which I think is about where I’ll keep it for now. I do plan on adding a paid subscription option to it at some point, but for now I’m more interested in getting some solid followers. It’s a short one but man this language is so chock full of incredible logopoeia as well as melopoeia (see my Recipe for Poetry to understand what that means) that even small snippets are so delicious, aren’t they. Enjoy! 🎄

Xmas readaloud 2022 part 1

Last year, I read A Christmas Carol in small increments in a sort of online holiday storytime. This year, I’ll be doing so again, but this time with a different piece of classic holiday literature. This year, it’s Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas in Wales, which is a really fun one to read aloud, what with Thomas’ rich poetic language and all. Anywho. Here’s part one:
