Substack Reads—Zuko version

I’ve begun my Substack in earnest, and I’ve been posting twice a week so far, which I think is about where I’ll keep it for now. I do plan on adding a paid subscription option to it at some point, but for now I’m more interested in getting some solid followers. Here’s the second and third … I was going to say “episodes” but eh yeah I guess they kind of are, aren’t they? If you’ve been lurking here for a while, you’ll surely recognize these pieces. Go follow me there, though—Substack is cool because it goes right to your email. Convenient.

…it’s not what you think.

Where’s your 3rd place these days?

I’ve Made Me a Substack!

That’s right–I’ve finally embraced the world of new media, and am starting by picking some of my favorite pieces from here and making them my first entries on my Substack!

You should really subscribe to it, you know–I’m going to be putting up both old and new content every week! No, really. How do you subscribe? Easy. Go to my first article and subscribe with your email. Do it now while it’s still free.

Outrider Redux Part Deux

…but it’s actually technically Episode 69, so. Nice.

This episode ran into not only technical issues, but also issues of its hosts (ahem) running off the rails pretty severely and so we needed to re-record. Here ‘tis, in all its re-edited glory.

We just finished recording Ep 3, too, so look for that as soon as we can wrestle it into something listenable.

Here’s the link, or you can find it on any of your favorite podcatchers.

Xmas readaloud 2022 part 1

Last year, I read A Christmas Carol in small increments in a sort of online holiday storytime. This year, I’ll be doing so again, but this time with a different piece of classic holiday literature. This year, it’s Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas in Wales, which is a really fun one to read aloud, what with Thomas’ rich poetic language and all. Anywho. Here’s part one:

No, I’m not doing a Welsh accent.
